Bob La Rue - Head Coach 

Coach LaRue received his Bachelors Degree from ASU, his teaching certificate from GCU and his MA in counseling from the University of Phoenix.  He has been the Varsity Head Coach at Saguaro High School since 1999. Coach La Rue's believes that participating in high school athletics should prepare student athletes to succeed in the real world by learning the importance of preparation, teamwork, personal responsibility, self-discipline, a good work ethic and a passion for what you are doing. it should create memories and relationships that last a lifetime. 





Brian Mueller - Assistant Head Coach
Coach Mueller graduated from ASU and Notre Dame Law School. He has coached high school basketball in Indiana and Arizona, including in the AIA for over a decade.  As a club coach, he won many state tournaments and a year-end national tournament involving teams from 27 states and Canada. Coach Mueller's believes that players should strive to meet high expectations in a positive environment and that success is based on vision, discipline, intensity and commitment. 





Jim Brady - Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Brady received his Bachelor’s Degree from ASU. He played for the Sabercats from 1976-1978 and was captain of the 1977-78 state playoff team, He coached little league and club baseball for several years and YMCA basketball where he had an undefeated year. Coach Brady believes in creating a competitive and positive environment for the players and that many life lessons can be gleaned from basketball including determination, perseverance, teamwork and camaraderie.
